as you can see from the above image, my signature finally returned home from the first round of the AJSS! this is actually the second one i made, as the first one went missing. it's a success all around. i adore the collage and drawn bits, particularly these film strips!
i always love receiving a piece back after it's made it through the hands of a bunch of artists. i think i'll continue working on this one. =D it has some pages that feel sort of empty still!

Glad you like the film strips. They were lying around in the studio, and they felt right on that page. Some of the pages in my book felt a bit empty when it came home, and I've done a bit of work on it and reordered it too. One day I hope that it will make it into the same room as my scanner and/or camera and I'll get some pics up.
ReplyDeletei absolutely loved the film strips. they'll always have a place in my heart, as i was trained to be a photographer! film... love it. as for the books, yes, mine had quite a few sort of empty feeling pages as well. the idea was that it could be sent through another swap sometime down the line, or finished off by the individual artists. i plan to keep hosting this swap until i have enough to bind at least a 2 inch sketchbook!
